Severn Veterinary Referrals

This was set up by Jock Queen (see staff section) as a small animal orthopaedic and spinal referral service for other veterinary surgeons, and practices to use within our catchment area, mainly Midlands, South West, and East Wales. We are able to offer no obligation case discussion and telephone advice, and also provide a radiographic reporting service.

Information for veterinary surgeons wishing to refer a case

Cases are seen as promptly as possible and/or at the owners convenience. Emergency cases are seen as a priority.

Case Histories can either be sent with the client, along with any relevant radiographs, or can be sent in advance, by letter or fax, or over the telephone. Any radiographs sent will be returned.

A map with directions for the client can be requested from the telephone number above.

Alternatively, you may ask the owner to telephone the practice to arrange the appointment, and we will give them directions and other details. In particular, please draw to their attention the need for their pet to be starved and the possibility of their pet needing to be hospitalised.
